OSTEOPATHIST

I have had my practice as an osteopath since 2016.

I graduated from the School of Practical Osteopathy founded by A.E. Smirnov in Moscow and I also work as a part time assistant there.

I have come to osteopathy in search for safer and more harmonious solutions to working with the body.

Being a choreographer and teacher for more than 15 years, I have always looked for the safest and most resourceful ways to enhance the body and dance technique, and therefore performance skills.

The practice of yoga and yoga therapy has helped me find multiple approaches to teaching dance and working as a theatre choreographer.

However, yoga has not not answered a lot of the remaining questions.

I found these answers in studying the osteopathic whole body approach.

It may seem like there is a great difference between dance and osteopathy, but the experience of studying and practicing this discipline gives me an incredibly broad understanding of possible reasons for the body movement limitations, and how to work with them.

Currently my focus is in exploring the possibilities of the body in terms of anatomy, biomechanics and conscious movement.
