In teaching I combine several directions.

In general, they can be characterized as a person-centered approach.

It means that as a teacher and choreographer, I see the body as a holistic system.

Trauma safety and the quality of performing skills are of key importance to me, and, in my opinion, they are inextricable.

Having started the practice of teaching contemporary in 2005, I discovered many challenges associated with the physiological characteristics of students. I noticed that there are no identical bodies, and there are individual characteristics of students that must be taken into account in the learning process.

I understood that I should work not so much with the body, but rather pay attention to consciousness and mindfulness.

Awareness can help to expand the boundaries of both dance technique and the level of the performing skills.

DANCE TEACHER

That's why I began to study yoga, then yoga therapy, which later led to osteopathy.

All these studies have allowed me to accumulate a unique experience of working with the human body.

Regardless of what the task is, I always have a comprehensive approach, taking into account all the knowledge I have gained over the past twenty years.

I have taught contemporary dance classes in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Petrozavodsk, Chita, Nizhnevartovsk, Kerch, Nizhny Novgorod.

I teach following disciplines -

  • contemporary technique - floor work, release, Countertechnique

  • ballet adapted for contemporary dancers

  • dance improvisation techniques

  • osteopractic school assistance
